The Drexel MetShield® Synthetic Underlayment with WIP GRIP® Technology is among the safest, strongest and best-performing roof underlayments on the market. The 16-mil polyolefin membrane has a skid-resistant polymer coating and a proprietary WIP GRIP walking surface for dynamic steep-slope traction. It lays flat without wrinkles, resists UV breakdown, and is lighter and stronger than Type 15 or 30 felt. It resists tearing and stretching around fasteners in high-traffic areas and high winds, and won't buckle, warp or crack. Backed by a 35-year limited warranty.
