BUTYL TAPE-SEAL™ is a 100% solids, extruded butyl sealant tape with a silicone-backed release paper, made for the metal building industry. It adheres to most clean, dry metal surfaces and does not harden, bleed or stain. Under pressure it fills minor surface irregularities and seals joints, providing an effective barrier against water, moisture, dust and dirt. An excellent choice for use around windows, doors, roof vents, stacks, access doors and other penetration points.

Applications
Sealing metal roof and wall panels, side-laps, end-laps, trim joints and penetrations.
Installation Tips
- Surfaces should be free of oil, dust, dirt and moisture
- Below 40°F, remove any condensation or frost before applying
- Position the tape, press in place through the release paper, and remove the paper just before assembly / fastening
- At fastener locations, position the tape on the weather-entry side so screws penetrate through it
- Clean tools with mineral spirits
